Vera Koubková

Věra was born in the Czech Republic. After gaining her Masters degree in Mathematics in 1997, she joined Andersen Consulting (later Accenture) in Prague. Věra has been living in the UK since 2000, working as a consultant and a project manager leading international change and software implementation projects in the UK, Europe and Russia. Until 2009 she held a senior management position at Barclays Commercial Bank.

Whilst studying for her MBA, she set up a consulting company FIFTY’TEN Ltd. She now works as an independent management consultant and focuses on international project leadership, project delivery and management training. Since 2011 she also works as a university lecturer at the BPP Business School, European School of Economics and St Patrick's College in London, leading postgraduate classes in Project Management, Quantitative Business Methods and Economics.

Věra is an Executive Committee member of the British Czech Chamber of Commerce and a founder and a trustee of a charity organization Kipepeo Foundation that sponsors educational projects for orphans and disadvantaged children from the Kenyan coast.
