Massimo Aureli

Massimo Aureli attained his undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University La Sapienza, Rome, and since has developed specialised experience in the fields of human resources, E-business, E-commerce, and E-Marketing. Aureli has twenty-five years work experience in executive positions in the private sector and United Nations system, operating in multinational and multi-cultural environments, and interacting with senior management and line management to ensure that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) contributes to the attainment of corporate objectives. From 1974 to 1991 Aureli worked with DANSK ESSE A/S as a Computer Operations and Data Processing Manager, Responsible for the Information Systems Division; from 1981 to 1983 with ESSO Europe as the Regional Budget Coordinator and Senior Financial Advisor responsible within the Controller's Department for the analysis and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, yearly earnings; from 1983 to 1989 with ESSO Italiana Spa as the Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager and the Corporate Systems Manager; and from 1989 to 2006 with IFAS (International Fund for Agricultural Development) as the Director of the Information Systems Division. Aureli has up-to-date knowledge at the management level of the latest evolutions of ICT and awareness of the product and service offerings of major vendors.
