Graduates from the BSc in International Business programme occupy positions within multinational organisations in a variety of business functions, such as management, organisational operations/logistics, customer care, and marketing, among others.
Graduates from the Bachelor of Science in International Business possess:
• strong analytical skills, capable of identifying and assessing strategic opportunities that may benefit an organisation in both the domestic and international market
• a solid understanding of the global business environment, trading systems, and geo- and socio-political influences on investments, trade, and the economic landscape
• the flexibility and creativity necessary to address challenges presented by a rapidly changing international business environment.
• cross-cultural communication skills, capable of managing across cultural boundaries.
Why a Bachelor in International Business?
The evolution of communication technologies and ever-increasing globalisation of business activities have resulted in the demand for professionals familiar with other markets, cultures, and languages.
Regardless of the field of specialisation, whether students are interested in entering the world of fashion or an international consultancy firm, a multinational consumer-goods corporation or a record label, possessing a firm and practical understanding of international business is critical.
ESE students are not only trained in the theories that underlie international business activities, but also:
• conduct their studies in an international environment with students from around the world.
• study two foreign languages.
• complete one year of study abroad with another ESE centre or partner university.
• intern with companies around the globe
• receive individual attention due to the competitive 1:4 student-teacher ratio.
