Globalisation has created an ever increasing demand for professionals possessing not only a strong marketing background, but also equipped with the international perspective and experiences that permit them to understand diverse global markets and consumers.
Students in the Bachelor of Science in International Marketing programme are trained in critical marketing concepts, their adaptation to an international context, and how to employ these marketing strategies for maximum profit.
Graduates from the Bachelor of Science in International Marketing possess:
• a solid foundation in marketing principles, strategic marketing, pricing strategies, and the application and modification of marketing strategies within a global context
• flexibility and creativity, necessary to address the challenges presented by a rapidly changing international business environment
• cross-cultural communication skills, capable of managing across cultural boundaries
• strong analytical skills, capable of identifying and assessing strategic marketing opportunities that may benefit an organisation in both the domestic and international market.
Why a Bachelor in International Marketing?
The evolution of contemporary business has resulted in a new marketing perspective to address consumer needs and demands on both a domestic and international scale. The BSc in International Marketing will prepare these marketers for leadership roles within their field of specialisation, whether they wish to work as consultants for a marketing firm, enter into brand management for an international label, work within a global consumer goods corporation, or within any other marketing function.
ESE students are not only trained in the theories that underlie international business activities, but also:
• conduct their studies in an international environment with students from around the world
• study two foreign languages
• complete one year of study abroad with another ESE centre or partner university
• intern with companies around the globe
• receive individual attention due to the competitive 1:4 student-teacher ratio
