Art & Heritage Management Specialisation

The pinnacle of a civilisation is captured in the walls of its monuments and on the canvases of its galleries. Its highest expression can not only be seen, but can also serve to inspire through proper conservation and management. The bachelor degree in International Marketing with a specialisation in Art & Heritage Management will examine various types of art facilities and resources such as museums, galleries, theatres and historical attractions and their relation to cultural events and activities, patrimonial capitalisation and management. The bachelor specialisation in Art & Heritage Management begins from a cultural management standpoint aiming to prepare a new breed of international graduates with a business oriented approach.

Environmental Economics Specialisation
Environmental economics is a fundamental issue for the survival of the planet. A new breed of business leaders are needed to manage this material wealth so intrinsically vital to daily life. The bachelor degree in International Marketing with a specialisation in Environmental Economics aims to provide students with a critical understanding of the different ways in which economic decisions can affect the natural environment and the ability to evaluate international policies towards the environment and natural resources. On completion of this bachelor specialisation students will be able to work as environmental economists in fields such as: public and private sector companies, government ministries, international and non-governmental organisations and carry out consultancy work within the area of environmental economics.

Event Management Specialisation
Event management is a rapidly growing area within the services sector not only for its recreational qualities, but also for its power of communication. An event is not only a diversion for the spectators but a tool capable of bringing together large numbers of people for a specific occasion. The bachelor degree in International Marketing with a specialisation in Event Management, while making use of the academic theory behind events, also provides the opportunity for vocational practise by encouraging students to participate in the planning and execution of events as part of their degree through our in-company training programme. It seeks to equip students with an appropriate balance of academic and vocational practice in order to meet the demands of this young, diverse and rapidly developing industry and provides an in-house training laboratory in its ‘Il Bottaccio London’ venue centre adjacent to ESE London (www.bottaccio.co.uk).

Fashion Management Specialisation
The modern fashion industry embraces not only the styling, production and marketing of clothing but also a wide range of industrial and leisure goods. A new genre of managers with a honed sense of creativity and a strong background in cross-cultural communication and international business is needed to cope with the strongly competitive fields of manufacturing and merchandising. Bachelor students specialising in Fashion Management will be the first to explore new frontiers and achieve new standards in the contemporary world market. The bachelor specialisation in Fashion & Luxury Goods Management provides students with a comprehensive grounding in the main areas of business, management and marketing studies within the context of fashion.

Hospitality & Tourism Management Specialisation
The hospitality and tourism industries are major economic and social forces throughout the world. The bachelor degree in International Marketing with a specialisation in Hospitality & Tourism Management provides a basic foundation in business and management as applied to this business sector with particular emphasis on managerial and entrepreneurial activities such as hotels, restaurants, tour operation, events and conferences - all prime growth areas. Students will gain an understanding of the changing social, cultural, economic and political factors, which influence the tourism and hospitality industries. The international management specialisation gives students an historical perspective on the development of this discipline, and a modern perspective on its philosophical and sociological foundations.

Music Management Specialisation

The bachelor in International Marekting with a specialisation in Music Industry Management has been designed as an effective and comprehensive instrument capable of giving a real working structure to the free spirit and unifying force innate in this vastly changing industry. The course of study has been developed to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue a business and management career in the music and media industries. Job opportunities range from project managers to promoters in both private and corporate sectors of the music industry.
