Bachelor's Degree in International Finance

The Bachelor of Science in International Finance trains students in the theory and practice of capital budgeting, preparing finance professionals able to assess the value of an investment and to reflect on the concept of risk and its relationship with expected return.

Graduates from the BSc in International Finance programme occupy positions within multinational organisations in the finance and banking industry.

 

Graduates from the Bachelor of Science in International Business possess:

• a solid understanding of the global business environment, trading systems, and geo- and socio-political influences on investments, trade, and the global economic landscape

 

• solid foundation in the principles of financial management and budgeting

 

• strong analytical skills, capable of assessing and providing effective advice on investments, the risk involved and the predicted rates on return


• the ability to prepare short- and long-term investment plans for organisations and individuals.


Why a Bachelor in International Finance?

International finance encompasses a wide subject matter that deals with the philosophy behind money and it’s allocation, from economics, to accounting, to investing. Regardless of an organisation’s size, money management is critical to a company’s success. The BSc in International Finance equips students with the skills necessary to assist businesses and individuals in financial decisions.

Furthermore, if students are interested in working in Finance within a specific industry, they may select from a variety of ESE specialisations.

ESE students are not only trained in the theories that underlie international business activities, but also:
