There is a quintessential reason for our presence in this metropolis and one that relates closely to the synergies that have made ESE international business studies school so popular: Milan city dreams.
As the symbol of the Italian dream, Milan had traditionally been a city of opportunity, a place where Italians and other Europeans 'make it'.
As a world centre for fashion and commerce, Milan exudes creativity, hard work and fun - a reflection of ESE philosophy toward education and personal development.
The European School of Economics Milan centre is located in a beautiful 17th Century Neoclassical Style building, which has been reconstructed in 19th Century and restored by two important architects such as Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
The building was the former residence of Marquis Gaspare Ordono de Rosales. Nowadays it is actually one of the very few ancient palaces which survived the wholesale demolitions ordered for the construction of Milan's massive law court edifice in the 1930s.
The ESE Milan Centre is very close to one of the biggest libraries of the city namely "The Biblioteca Sormani" where you can borrow various and several interesting books and make a study on what you need. Moreover you can use the Internet just by logging in completely free of charge. This library will be your ideal spot for your studies as you can use your floppies, cd-roms and printers too.
Our premises are quite easy to reach by public transports and metro. Just take the Red Line and get off at San Babila, then head to Via Durini, at its end, here we are at Largo Augusto/Porta Vittoria. Otherwise, if you take the Yellow Line, get off at Missori and then go for a stroll to ESE or take the bus 12 or 27 in Via Larga and get off at Largo Augusto/Porta Vittoria.
Located in a strategic position in down town ESE Centre is just 800 meters away from Duomo Cathedral, 3 km from the Railway station and 6 km from Linate Airport. In addiction to that our brand new base is surrounded by a lot of facilities such the Western Union point and a multitude of shops, bars, chemistries, libraries and an Internet point. Post office and news-agents are also at hand. Next to the Milan Centre there are beautiful green gardens "Giardini della Guastalla", an heaven of peace close to the Sinagoga and just at the back of Biblioteca Sormani.
