A creative leader creates through his inner integrity the enviroment and the conditions under which everybody will naturally express his own ideas and creativity, and feel responsible for the well being and development of the entire organization.
ESE SPECIALISED PROGRAMME - MANAGEMENT
Today’s managers are required to possess a diverse set of key skills and core competences that are essential to successfully plan, execute and evaluate a wide range of business activities. The ESE Specialised Programme in Management equips participants with the right combination of practical knowledge supported by theoretical foundations to hone their leaders skills The course offers a valuable insight into the field of Management that gives participants an advantage over the rest of the increasingly professionally prepared workforce in the market.
The ESE Specialised Programme in Management is designed to develop and contextualise managerial skills and acumen to ensure that managers dealing with international markets have the required understanding and insight for success in this field. This will be achieved through critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and personal development in a highly interactive and stimulating environment.
Participants will be able to take responsibility to manage, supervise and direct their own, and others, activities, whilst understanding key strategic issues and trends in management. This includes the use of information to make critical decisions and the application of theories and techniques to practical realistic work situations in the business sector. Students will have developed the skills to implement agreed effective and efficient solutions within the constraints of limited resources.
Intake Dates: January, April, September
Students will take four of the following modules:
1. Entrepreneurship and Leadership
2. Globalised Information and Communication Systems
3. International Project Management
4. International Business Management
5. Human Resources Management
6. International Strategic Marketing
Course Duration: One Academic Term
Mode of Delivery: Each module consists of 100 hours of learning; 30 hours are spent in lectures/seminars and the remaining time is devoted to directed learning activities, final assessment preparation and self-study.

NB: All non-English documents must be officially translated.
* Candidates who do not hold the required qualification but who are able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a managerial position or above for a minimum of 3 years will also be considered.
** Candidates who have completed their first degree or studied in the English language for at least 2 years are not required to submit this test. The committee discourages any candidate with a TOEFL score lower than 577
(paper-based), 90 (internet-based) or IELTS score lower than 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each skill) from applying, as the language of instruction is English.

Internship Programme: Upon successful completion of the programme participants may opt to take a 3-month internship fitted to their profile and career objectives. An assessment with the ESE Placement Officer will determine their eligibility for a placement. ****
Professional Advantages: The aim of this specialised course is to provide a distinctive, inter-disciplinary and integrative educational programme for individuals seeking to consolidate their managerial achievements or prepare for a career at the highest levels of industry. Participants will have increased competitive advantage by possessing a dynamic balance of solid academic knowledge and essential practical skills. The programme thus aims to provide learners with a progressively higher level of understanding and critical awareness of the main issues in strategic management, and of the associated concepts, models and techniques.
Credits & Recognition: Upon completion of the programme, participants will be awarded an ESE Certification of successful completion of the programme.
