ESE SPECIALISED PROGRAMME - MARKETING
The ESE Specialised Programme in Marketing is designed to further develop participants’ marketing skills and acumen to ensure that managers in international markets have the required understanding and insight for success in this field. The course will prepare participants for a wide range of activities such as brand management, product development, services marketing and business-to-business marketing enabling them to enter into specialist marketing consultancy and service firms that excel in the areas of market research, advertising, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing.
Since marketing is the art and science of targeting market segments and obtaining, maintaining and building loyalty we will work on effective communication and the delivery of superior service and value. Participants will be able to manage, supervise and direct their own, and others, activities, whilst understanding key strategic issues and trends in the field. This includes the use of information to make critical decisions and the application of theories and techniques to practical realistic work situations in the sector.

Course Structure
Students will take four of the following modules
- Innovation Development and Management
- E-Business and E-Commerce
- International Strategic Marketing
- Consumer Behaviour
- Integrated Marketing Communication
- International Business Management
Course Duration: One Academic Term
Mode of Delivery: Each module consists of 100 hours of learning; 30 hours are spent in lectures/seminars and the remaining time is devoted to directed learning activities, final assessment preparation and self-study.

Entry Requirements:

• A first degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent level professional qualification*
• Resume / CV + personal statement
• Two letters of recommendation
• IELTS/ TOEFL** score
• Three photographs (passport size)
• Photocopy of passport/ID
• Application fee (£50) - to be paid online here or addressed to the European School of Economics***
NB: All non-English documents must be officially translated.
* Candidates who do not hold the required qualification but who are able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a managerial position or above for a minimum of 3 years will also be considered.
** Candidates who have completed their first degree or studied in the English language for at least 2 years are not required to submit this test. The committee discourages any candidate with a TOEFL score lower than 577
(paper-based), 90 (internet-based) or IELTS score lower than 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each skill) from applying, as the language of instruction is English.

Internship Programme: Upon successful completion of the programme participants may opt to take a 3-month internship fitted to their profile and career objectives. An assessment with the ESE Placement Officer will determine their eligibility for a placement. ****
Professional Advantages: Participants will be able to expand into a wide range of careers such as brand management and product development to services and business-to-business marketing. In addition to training for these sectors, the course will prepare students to enter into specialist marketing consultancy and service firms that excel in the areas of market research, advertising, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing.
Credits & Recognition: Upon completion of the programme, participants will be awarded an ESE Certification of successful completion of the programme.
