Study in Italy (Rome, Milan, Florence)

As a cradle of European culture, Italy has played an active role throughout the history of Western Europe: a political and cultural centre under the Roman Empire; a revolutionary force in the arts, philosophy, and culture during the Florentine Renaissance; and a leading force in contemporary international business in Milan.

The Italian culture - commonly equated with renowned Italian products, such as Italian automobiles, fashion labels, wines and the culinary arts – reflects the major industries of this country: tourism, machinery, food processing, textiles, motor vehicles, clothing, footwear, and ceramics. Although Italy is most frequently celebrated for its historical achievements, it continues to be a major force in the evolution of European and global business. Today Italy is ranked within the 8 most industrialized countries in the world, and has developed a strong foundation for economic growth, as a member of G8, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
