Postgraduate Certificate in Management

The Postgraduate Certificate in Management is designed to develop and contextualise managerial skills and acumen to ensure prospective managers in these international markets have the required understanding and insight to be able to contribute significantly to the employment of their choice within this field. This is achieved through critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and personal development in a highly interactive and stimulating environment.

The PG Certificate in Management will provide a high quality educational experience for students of management and thus to improve the quality of postgraduate management here and overseas. Successful candidates will be able to take responsibility to manage, supervise and direct their own, and others, activities, whilst understanding key strategic issues and trends in management. This includes the use of information to make critical decisions and the application of theories and techniques to practical realistic work situations in the business sector.

Students will have developed the skills to implement agreed solutions within the constraints of limited resources effectively and efficiently. They should therefore have strongly developed interpersonal skills and to be able to interact effectively with a range of culturally diverse students, lecturers, and management specialists.

Today’s managers are required to possess a diverse set of key skills and core competences that are essential to successfully plan, execute and evaluate a wide range of business activities. The ESE Post Graduate Certificate in Management equips students with the right combination of practical knowledge supported by theoretical foundations to become proactive leaders. The programme offers a valuable insight into the field of Management that set participants aside from the rest of the increasingly professionally prepared workforce in the market. This grants a competitive advantage to those who successfully complete the programme.
